Coached Scrimmage Clinic! (New Again!) Two teams, Two Coaches! One referee! (10 competitive weeks; $280) NEW!
Every team in every league everywhere goes through a process of evaluation, preparation and competition. that's what we will do here. the two coaches will split up players into two squads. Preparation will begin: offenses, defenses, half and full court. Out of bounds plays, specials, all intended to take advantage of the "special" skills of the team members. After the first two weeks, we will (with input, if necessary) from players, make trades. the season will begin. Weeks 3-7 will be the regular season, weeks 8-9 the playoffs. Week 10 will be an additional shortened game day with the addition of a Skills Challenge open to all players. The emphasis, as in all previous Coached Scrimmage Clinics will be improvement through coach directed team play. (Open to hi-Novice through Advanced and limited to the first 18 players.) You are playing and you feel like you are definitely doing some things well. But there's that feeling, that knowledge that there exists a gap between you and the really good player, a gap that is not explained merely by size or athleticism. Coach Fagan knows well the difference between you and them and will show you how and what to practice to close the gap.
