We generally are able to ship orders within 3 business days of receipt of payment. (If you order on-line, you will receive an email confirmation when you order has been shipped.)
All orders originating in New England will be shipped though the U.S. Postal Service via Priority Mail, which takes an additional 2-3 business days to reach most locations. Orders from other parts of the country may be sent Parcel Post (because of the recent Priority Mail rate increases for shipping to those areas).
For simplicity, we calculate shipping & handling charges not by item but by the dollar amount of your order, as follows:
- For orders of $49 or less, the shipping cost is $5.00.
- For orders of $50 to $99, the shipping cost is $7.50.
- For orders of $100 -$199, the shipping cost is $11.00.
- For orders of $200 and over, the shipping cost is $15.00.
When you
order on-line, you do not have to tally this yourself. When you confirm the contents of your order, the shipping charges will be automatically added to your total, before you confirm payment.
